National Pantheon

Low-angle view of the National Pantheon with a stone façade and Dominican flags near Billini Hotel Historic Luxury

This impressive neo-classical style building resembles a fortress but was actually built in 1746 to serve as a Jesuit church. Today it serves as a mausoleum and monument to some of the Dominican Republic’s greatest heroes, including the assassins of dictator Rafael Trujillo.
