Museo Alcazar de Colon

This grand, 22-room coral rock palace on the Ozama River served as the home for Christopher Columbus’s son, Diego, who was the first viceroy of the West Indies. The Colonial era furniture and 16th century works of art tell the story of the palace’s role as the seat of the Spanish court for 68 years.
