Friday of Sorrows

Friday of Sorrows marks the spiritual beginning of Holy Week. In an atmosphere of deep devotion, all churches and chapels in the Colonial City open their doors for the Stations of the Cross, followed by the Holy Rosary and Holy Mass. It is the perfect opportunity to take a journey of faith through the sacred architecture of Santo Domingo, preparing the heart for the mysteries of the Passion.
