Built from royal palms in 1514, this magnificent stone cathedral now takes up an entire city block. In addition to housing the tombstones of Simón Bolívar, the magnificent interiors feature glorious vaulted ceilings, beautiful stained glass windows, ornate altars and carvings, and several smaller chapels.
